David Yurman’s High Jewelry Flowers Are Natural Wonders

David Yurman debuted its latest high jewelry collection, DY Genesis, during Haute Couture week earlier this month at the brand’s Paris flagship store. Designed by president and chief creative officer Evan Yurman, the vibrant collection was inspired by the natural world—flowers and plants, specifically.

“Through the use of materials like aluminum, titanium, and precious metals to highlight our most exceptional and rare gemstones, we’re evolving the brand codes of artistry and innovation while staying true to our heritage,” Evan Yurman said in a statement.

The collection feels like a notable step forward into Hyper-Luxury Land for David Yurman, one of the biggest American-owned jewelry brands. The company is new to haute jewelry—it dropped its first high jewelry series in 2022. But when viewed alongside Van Cleef & Arpels, Harry Winston, Ana Khouri, and other jewelers that regularly show at Paris Couture Week (and have been churning out haute joallerie for far longer), the daringly bright and meticulously executed collection fits right into the week’s dazzling jewelry offerings.

Enjoy the extraordinary flowers!
