Diamond dogs, indeed. Jewelry brand Ritani has joined forces with Hemincuff, a vegan, sustainable accessories brand based in NYC, to create dog collars featuring charms set with lab-grown diamonds (and a few hot pink sapphires).
The vegan-leather collars, which are stamped to resemble crocodile skin, come in four different styles that range in price from $8,850—for a 14k white gold charm featuring 2.5 cts. t.w. pave-set diamonds—to an astounding $34,880 for a collar bearing just over 15 cts. t.w. lab-grown diamonds over a trio of charms.

It’s hard to imagine who will end up owning one of these exorbitantly priced collars—the universe only has one Paris Hilton. But there’s certainly an affluent customer out there who delights in pampering his/her dogs. And these doggy necklaces would make the world’s most unique high-end gift.
“We’re thrilled to collaborate with Hemincuff in launching this unique new product,” said Ria Papasifakis, head of product at Ritani. “As a brand committed to ethical practices and sustainability, we are excited to offer pet owners a luxurious and sustainable option that [includes] the finest jewelry craftsmanship.” Woof, woof.
