Grammy Jewelry 2023: Theatrical Bling Ruled the Red Carpet

Last night’s Grammy Awards in Los Angeles were full of dramatic jewelry moments—from Grammy winner Kim Petra’s oversized Victorian-esque necklace to Taylor Swift’s giant Lorraine Schwartz earrings which were so huge, they affected sparkling Pop Tarts (see both looks below).  Flashy was the mood and the mode, and the evening’s jewels added mega-shine to the bodacious ensembles celebrities donned for music’s biggest night of the year.
Here are a few of our favorite looks from Grammy’s red carpet—and let us know your favorite look in the comments!

Does she ever not look incredible? The always impeccably styled Laverne Cox in an airy and elegant custom Ilene Joy Fine Jewelry necklace. (photo: @sequoiaemmanuelle)

Grammy winner and German singer Kim Petras in an historical-inspired necklace with a red gemstone. It’s so oversized for the style, it’s almost cartoonish (in a good way!). (photo: @carolinapereira.art)
Top and above: Taylor Swift in Lorraine Schwartz gemstone earrings—like so many nights before! The celebrity and jeweler are longtime and close collaborators. (photo: @evermore_swiftie_31)
Machine Gun Kelly is a huge jewelry lover/wearer, and last night he donned a Dolce & Gabanna suit designed with a unique crystal necklace that connects to a jeweled harness of sorts.
H.E.R. was looking very chic in roughly 12 pieces of Jacquie Aiche jewelry, including the 31-diamond Emily necklace and the 11-diamond Emily necklace. And of course she wore her trademark tiny shades. (photo courtesy Jacquie Aiche)

De La Soul member and hip-hop legend Pos wore an Aman Itomi garnet, carnelian and gold necklace. The designer noted on Instagram, “What makes this so monumental for me is that it’s Hip Hop’s 50th Anniversary and in a small way I was a part of it; and that is significant to me and also something that can never be erased. Just a little hip hop kid at heart, honored that the legends respect my art.” Awesome! (photo: @amanitomi)
