Jewelers Mutual Group is partnering with the Women’s Jewelry Association (WJA) to award WJA’s 2022 Veteran Grant: a $5,000 merit-based grant awarded to a deserving U.S. military veteran to use towards their professional growth within the jewelry and watch industries.

The grant was established to support women veterans. Applications are open to members and non-members of the WJA, and entrants need to answer several questions and provide proof of honorable discharge with their application. The application period for the 2022 WJA Veteran Grant opens Sept. 1 and closes Oct. 1.

Tara Hutchinson
Jeweler Tara Hutchinson, winner of the 2016 WJA Veteran Grant, is a Texan who served a 10-year tour in the U.S. Army as a military police officer, retiring as a sergeant first class after tragically losing one of her legs in the war in Iraq (read her inspiring story here).

Have questions about the grant or how to apply? See WJA’s scholarship page and/or contact Rachel Jurisz at [email protected].
