6 Jewels Benefiting Breast Cancer Nonprofits This October

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and jewelry brands on every tier are donating to nonprofits that help fund breast cancer research, treatment, awareness, and education.

Some companies choose to make a once-a-year donation to breast cancer nonprofits, usually in October. But more often, brands tie their philanthropy to a percentage of sales from a jewelry style (sometimes expressly made for the campaign) or collection. That setup is a win-win: consumers get something they love that also benefits a great cause, while retailers make a sale, support vital nonprofits, and burnish their reputation with shoppers.

Here’s how five in-demand jewelry brands are honoring Breast Cancer Awareness Month in 2021:

Hillary Watson, senior director of sales and merchandising, tells The Zing Report, “We chose this piece not only because of the rose gold, but because its shape represents continuous strength, and lab-grown diamonds represent a movement forward, towards a cure.”
